1. Welcome to the World of Organization

Organization is a skill anyone can learn. Master the keys to organization with the seven steps as you learn methods for clearing clutter from your home and office and gain a new perspective about the areas in which you spend your time.

2. Entryway & Mudrooms

The entryway is the transition point from the outer world to your inner world.  The front entrance creates the first impression a person receives upon entering your home.  Create a warm and receptive environment that welcomes everyone.

An inviting front entrance conveys a sense of atmosphere, space, serenity and beauty.

3. Family Room

The goal for this room is to create a comfortable and inviting place for your family and guests.  The primary challenge is to keep everything organized, conveniently located and out of the way.  Learn practical and attractive ideas for the most lived in area of the home.

4. Kitchen & Dining Room

Kitchens are the most active room in your home.  This room creates the nourishment and health for your family; therefore, it must be the most carefully thought-out, planned, and the most organized room in your home.

5. Bathrooms & Linen Closet

Learn how to bring order to one of the smallest but busiest rooms in the house.   The smaller the space the more important it is to keep this room organized and a comfortable retreat.

6. Bedrooms

The bedroom is a sacred place where we spend approximately one third of our life.   For couples, this room is a sanctuary that must be calm, tidy and well-organized.  If you are in a solid relationship it will power the rest of the family.  Bring order to your bedroom and bring your relationship to a new level.

7. Clothes Closets & Accessories

The objective for this area is to use all vertical and horizontal space in your closet for accessibility and visibility. You need to be able to see and reach everything. The 80/20 rule applies more in this space than any other.

This is a place children consider their own and spend a lot of time playing, entertaining, studying and sleeping. This room should not only fit their physical needs, but also fit their dreams.

9. Utility Room

Typically, the utility room contains your laundry appliances and supplies, but with space permitting, it can also be a home for tools, extension cords, batteries, cleaning supplies, spare paper goods, and light bulbs.  The plus to an organized utility room is it will be easier for other family members to do their own laundry.

10. Garage, Attics & Basements

Garages, attics and basements are the ideal places to store all those things you use seasonally, put aside for the future, or can’t fit anywhere else.  However, the forgotten objects in those areas can take up space that could be dedicated to other purposes, such as parking, a playroom, or a workshop. These spaces can be organized, providing the storage you need and the space you can utilize.
